Ironcleft Genesis was once the prologue to a story set in the present day. That present-day story has not been written... this "prologue" ran away with itself.

In the present day, a clan of "hillbillies" in the Appalachian mountains is discovered in an isolated valley. I intend that unwritten story to cover the super-human attributes of the inhabitants of Ironcleft from the viewpoint of a team sent to study them.

Ironcleft Genesis on the other hand is set in the early 1800's. It is a biography of sorts of the first person to posses these attributes. She is in essence their Eve... though she kind of has to come up with her own Adam.

As for myself, I consider myself a decent but inconsistent writer... some of what I do is I think quite good. Other times, less good.
